That’s the thinking behind Elevas.
Although Elevas is a new business, our story began almost five decades ago. In 1977, our directors laid the foundations for what would become one of the Midlands’ most respected crane hire and contract lifting businesses. Over the years, they supported projects across construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, rail and heavy industry, earning the trust of customers throughout the UK and developing an understanding of what successful project delivery really demands.
As the industry evolved, so too did the needs of our customers. Projects became increasingly complex, often requiring specialist lifting, transport, secure storage and careful logistical planning. While each supplier might deliver their own service exceptionally well, responsibility for bringing everything together too often rested with the customer. It became clear there was an opportunity to do things differently.
Established with the purchase of three Volvo FH16 tractor units, Elevas was created to provide a smarter, more connected approach to project support. Rather than asking customers to coordinate multiple contractors, we bring every stage of a project together through one experienced team, combining specialist lifting, transport, secure storage and project coordination into a single, integrated solution.
Operating from our purpose-built facilities in the heart of the Midlands, close to Junction 10 of the M6, we’re perfectly positioned to support projects across England, Scotland and Wales. Our central location, modern fleet and dedicated storage facilities enable us to respond quickly while providing our customers with a dependable service from one trusted location.
Today, the principles on which Elevas was founded remain unchanged. We believe successful projects are built on trust, communication and careful planning. We continue to invest in our people, our fleet, our facilities and the partnerships that allow us to support increasingly diverse and complex projects throughout the UK and beyond.
